ODG is short for Online Dog Grooming. We are here for you as a dog groomer and entrepreneur to help you grow in your work. We share the best tips and latest insights in the dog grooming world with you through our online basic course, webinars, and online masterclasses. Are you an ambitious dog groomer who wants to learn how to groom at the highest level? Then we have the best training, courses and tips & trics for you.

Our mission is that every dog groomer can reach a higher level with Online Dog Grooming, so that you can work with more confidence and gain more control over the result of your work.

For students of the online basic course we have something unique. In addition to the more than 150 training videos, you get 12 months access to the ODG member community. There you will meet other like-minded dog groomers, we will answer your questions and you’ll receive personal feedback from us on your work, so that you can increase your technical skills as a dog groomer.

Meet Yvette van Altena and Lienke Luthart founders and educators of Online Dog Grooming

Yvette van Altena started as a dog groomer when she was 16 years old. Together with John and her two sons Kay and Luke she lives in Soest (the Netherlands) where she has her grooming salon at home. With over 25 years of experience, you can rightly call Yvette an expert in the world of dog grooming.

She is an examinator at recognized grooming schools and has trained more than 20 students as dog groomer in her salon. Yvette is an allround dog groomer in her salon, but the Bichon Frise and the Poodle are her favourites.

In addition, she is active in dog grooming competitions, nationally and internationally and not without success. She already won 3 'Best in Show' (Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands) and several gold, silver and bronze placements.

Lienke Luthart is specialized in the Poodle and breeder of this beautiful breed. She lives in Vierpolders (the Netherlands) together with her 4 standard Poodles and 1 Toy Poodle. Lienke has over 11 years of experience and is an expert in dog grooming. She works as an all-round dog groomer in her own salon, but is specialized in the Poodle. She actively participates in national and international dog grooming competitions and not without success.

She has won the title 'Best in Show' 2 times (Italy/ Netherlands) and 1 time 'Best International Overall' (Ireland). She also won several gold, silver and bronze placements. Besides the dog grooming competitions you can find Lienke as well on the showground with her Poodles.

How Online Dog Grooming is started time for an official name and registration in the Chamber of Commerce

Online Dog Grooming is started because of our many years of collaboration. We have been organizing demos and workshops for dog groomers together since 2016. We started live webinars in 2020. More than 450 participants attended our webinars, workshops and private training.

This year our training offer has been expanded with the online basic course 'Dog grooming from A to Z' and online masterclasses, so that you can choose which way of learning suits you best. With the expansion of our training offer, it was time for an official name and registration in the Chamber of Commerce

Online Dog Grooming was born! The new training platform for ambitious dog groomers with all courses and trainings available in one central place. We hope to meet you soon during the online basic course 'Dog trimmings from A to Z' or during a webinar.

Meet our ODG guest dog grooming experts

We are proud to introduce other dog grooming experts. Almost all online dog grooming training courses are provided by ourselves, but we have also found other experts willing to share their knowledge with you. For example, they speak in the training videos of the online basic course or a Masterclass.
